Teaching yoga is a humble and noble calling. It's also a lifestyle. In the busyness of our lives we get lost in the doing to impress and appeal to others, so much that we lose connection to our personal values and importance. Regaining and maintaining our deep sense of self-worth and understanding what truly and uniquely matters to us as individuals requires courage to excavate through all that blocks the connection. The Self lays the foundation for all other principles. We'll explore:

  • how we think
  • the impact our beliefs have on our actions
  • guilt and shame and where they come from
  • the yoga sutras and how they apply to your life
  • 8-limbs of yoga as a guideline of moral code
  • what you've been suppressing that needs expressing
  • your communication, it's come-from, and it's result
  • relationship to food and body
  • nutrition and it's impact on body and mind
