Pranayama is the 4th limb of our yoga practice. Breath is the thing that keeps us alive. In yoga philosophy, our breath, or prana, is considered “life-force.”

We practice pranayama in our asana practice with our deep-controlled breathing (ujayii), but it can go much further. When you variate it, your breath-work has the power to calm your anxiety, reduce stress, aid in digestion and metabolic power, and give you a natural boost of energy.

Join Kim to learn the root of pranayama, understand your respiratory muscles better, and learn basic breathing practices that you can utilize any time you need them.
