So what exactly IS your psoas (so-as)?
It’s a muscle that connects your spine to your legs. It’s often referred to as your hip flexors and is most commonly known to bend you at your hips (think forward folding or lifting your leg to walk). However, it does much more. It plays a role in your emotional response, such as fight, flight or freeze, pelvic floor function, respiratory issues, digestive issues, nerve functions, leg and foot pain, and the list goes on. In this workshop you’ll discover tools to strengthen your hips, low back and pelvic muscles for a stronger and healthier psoas. You will leave with a greater understanding why it is important to nourish these muscles and how they contribute to your overall health and well-being.
