Yoga is rich with history, stemming anywhere from 2,000 - 10,000 years ago. There are many text to read nowadays, but yoga lineage and Hindu philosophy were originally passed down through the art of story telling, an animate way to learn morals and lessons.
Join Ross, an Ashtanga authorized instructor through KPJAYI, to enjoy, just as our children do, the art of story telling. You’ll learn the significance of popular icons, such as the elephant (Ganesha) and monkey (Hanuman), stories of the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana, and we’ll join together in a few chants still practiced in India today.
